Custom Express, Your Finish, Your Way

Most of our case goods, tables, and select seating are available in a range of hand-applied finishes. This isn't a color selector on a screen, these are real finishes applied by hand, with natural variation and character that makes each piece unique.

Choose from painted finishes, wood stains, teak finishes, premium options, and specialty materials. No upcharge on standard finishes. Premium finishes carry a modest 10% surcharge for the additional materials and labor involved.

Age It to Perfection

Most wood pieces are available with three levels of distressing, a hand-applied aging process that gives new furniture the character and warmth of a well-loved antique.

  • None, Clean, smooth, modern appearance. No intentional wear marks.
  • Standard, Subtle aging with light wear marks and softened edges. The most popular choice.
  • Heavy, Pronounced aging with deep character marks, wormholes, and time-worn patina. Looks like it's been in the family for generations.

Place Your Order
Add to cart with your custom finish selections. Standard finishes at no extra cost. Premium finishes at a 10% surcharge.
Handcrafted & Delivered
Your piece is hand-finished and shipped in 12 to 14 weeks. Every finish is unique, natural variation is part of the charm.

Do custom finishes cost extra?
Standard finish options are included at no extra cost. Premium finishes (specialty lacquers, exotic materials) carry a 10% surcharge. The price is shown clearly before you add to cart.
Can I see finish samples?
We can arrange physical finish samples for most options. Call us to request samples for the specific finish you're considering.
Will my finish look exactly like the photo?
Because every finish is hand-applied and wood is a natural material, there will be subtle variations between pieces. This is part of what makes each piece unique. We provide representative images, but slight variation is expected and desirable.
How long do custom finish orders take?
Custom finish orders typically ship in 12 to 14 weeks. We confirm the timeline when you place your order.
Can I request a custom color match?
For certain pieces, yes. Contact us with a paint chip, fabric swatch, or reference image and we'll evaluate whether a custom color match is possible for your piece.
What is the return policy?
Custom finish orders are built specifically for you and are final sale. We confirm every detail before production begins.
