Description
Every surface of this Anglo-Indian hand-carved storage trunk has been under the chisel - lid, front, and both ends worked in a dense, allover pattern that rewards a close look from any seat in the room. No plane was left plain, which is exactly the tradition it comes from.
That tradition is Anglo-Indian, where carvers treated a plain box as an unfinished one. Lift the lid and there is more than five feet of open storage for spare bedding, winter throws, and albums - the whole category too bulky for drawers. At 64.5 by 18 inches and 18 inches tall, it also serves as a low table or a bench at the foot of a bed.
Set it before a sofa with a tray on top, or under a window where the pattern gets raking light in the afternoon.

Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Pieces must be unused and in their original packaging. A restocking fee applies. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense; we help arrange proper transit.
If your piece arrives with damage from transit, note it on the transit documents at the time of delivery and send photos to hello@egahome.com within 24 hours. We will repair the piece at no cost to you, replace it if repair is not possible, or refund it in full if neither can be done.
