Description
A thick pour of glass, faintly rippled like river ice, makes the top of this cast glass slab table on aged brass iron, the slab seated on a forged base. Light enters the slab and stays there, so the table glows a little at lamp hour.
Seventeen inches across and 22 inches high, it is drawn to drink-table scale - at a chair arm, beside a bath, at the foot of a chaise. The cast top carries a heft and optical depth that sheet glass never manages.
Forged metal and cast glass are both born in heat, one hammered and one poured, and they suit each other. A small table can carry that much material honesty with ease.

If your piece arrives with damage from transit, note it on the transit documents at the time of delivery and send photos to hello@egahome.com within 24 hours. We will repair the piece at no cost to you, replace it if repair is not possible, or refund it in full if neither can be done.
