This exceptional English antique reproduction combines the best of 18th century English design with the extraordinary Chinese influence that took the Western world by storm in the 18th century. Hand-painted in our workshops, the black lacquered Chinoiserie decoration covers the entire chest and will become the focal point of any room.

This classic chest is beautifully sculptured with a deep, serpentine front and a flowing, hand-carved top. Each of the four graduated drawers lock. The canted front corner posts are fluted and supported by hand-carved, ogee-bracket feet in the Chippendale style. Mahogany and other finishes are available. Limited Stock

Keep pieces away from heat sources including radiators, fireplaces, and forced-air vents, all of which can cause wood to warp or the finish to deteriorate over time. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade or dry out the surface. Use coasters and placemats to protect the finish from moisture and heat. For routine care, dust with a soft cloth moving with the grain. Wipe spills immediately with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. Apply a quality furniture wax or polish once or twice a year to preserve the finish. When moving furniture, always lift rather than drag to protect joints and legs.
