Fontainebleau Empire Chandelier, based on a 19th-century French design, the arrangement of the chains and the elaborate cast brass details make this design distinctive. A gilt finish, with acanthus leaves, ornate details, swan form arms and palmette motifs. The gilt finish will age beautifully over time.

Produced using authentic techniques and hand-finished in gilt. The base material is solid cast brass, which is expertly molded and soldered to form the intricate details.

Our lighting is crafted from the finest materials and finished by hand. For brass fixtures, dust regularly with a soft, dry lint-free cloth. Most brass is not lacquered — it has been chemically aged and finished with pure beeswax for depth and character that matures beautifully over time. Avoid excessive handling, as natural oils from skin can affect the surface. For nickel, bronze, silver, or chrome finishes, use a dry cloth only with no chemical cleaners. For alabaster components, dust with a soft brush only and never use water or water-based cleaners. For glass elements, isopropyl alcohol works best. For lampshades, gently dust card or laminated shades with a feather duster, and for silk shades, tap gently to lift dust.
