Crafted in richly figured walnut with expressive crotch veneers, this vertical form features a graceful broken-arch pediment crowned with turned urn finials and a central finial, creating a strong architectural presence. The upper cabinet has arched mirrored doors that enhance light and symmetry and echo period design principles rooted in proportion and restraint.

The mirrored panel doors and slant-front writing surface open to reveal an intricately arranged interior with multiple drawers and cupboards, finished in contrasting black and gilt Chinoiserie-inspired decoration. Hand-painted details accent the drawer fronts, complemented by decorative brass hardware that underscores the craftsmanship. The base rests on a block-footed foundation, lending visual stability while maintaining the lightness characteristic of Queen Anne design.
