This Gray Book Set gathers twelve volumes bound in shagreen leather and paper, sized so no two spines line up exactly. The leather is Antique Gray, and the surface carries the fine granular texture shagreen is known for, catching light in a way flat cloth binding never does. Because the sizes vary, the twelve read as a collected library rather than as a matched run of identical books.

Each volume runs 7 to 10 inches wide, 1 inch deep and 5 to 7 inches high, with sizes varying across the set. That range lets you stack the larger volumes flat as a riser for a lamp or an object, stand the smaller ones upright between bookends, and split the twelve across several rooms without any shelf looking short. A stack of three fills the empty end of a bookcase.

Gray shagreen belongs in Art Deco and traditional interiors, and it behaves just as well in a transitional library where the shelves need texture rather than another color.
