Description
Open to its full 70 inches, this white reeded expanding Jupe dining table spreads its top in the radial pattern, wedge sections running out from the center over a bold pedestal. Closed, it is a 55 inch round for daily use - the leaves store inside the table and deploy in under a minute.
The pedestal is where this table earns its keep: a turned column cut with deep vertical reeding, seated on a stepped square plinth. The top is ash over an oak core with wood veneers, and the white finish has visible depth rather than reading sprayed flat.
Four to six sit around it closed, eight when open. The white keeps a breakfast room bright and lets chairs in any finish - rush, oak, upholstered - belong instantly.
