Description
Transitional Country Antiqued Sideboard, 64" - Reclaimed Wood with Warm Distressing leans on contrast for its character. Two drawers run across the top above four paneled cabinet doors arranged 2x2, all framed by linear recessed panels that keep the front elevation quiet. Tapered, turned legs raise the case off the floor in a Neo-Classical-leaning posture.
The piece is built from reclaimed wood and finished in a deep ebonized black, with extensive golden-brown distressing breaking through on the lower panels, edges, and high-wear points. That warm undertone keeps the black from going flat and gives the surface an aged, hand-finished look. Round dark-metal knobs sit centered on each door and drawer, restrained enough to let the finish lead.
Use it as a dining room sideboard, as a long console, or in a library where the dark surface can sit comfortably against bookshelves. Pair it with brass or alabaster lamps, a large piece of art, woven seating, and warm-toned rugs. The ebonized finish anchors lighter rooms and disappears beautifully into deeper wall colors.
