These Wingback Dining Chairs carry the presence of a fireside armchair to true dining height, with real wings closing in on either side of the shoulders. The back rises 43 inches, framed in natural beech and wrapped in beige linen that stays plain across the seat and the wings. A run of nailhead tacks traces the wing edge, spaced close enough to read as a continuous line rather than as separate dots.

At 21 inches wide and 26 inches deep, the chair keeps a modest footprint for something with this much back to it, so one at each end of the table will not steal the room a long table needs. A stretcher base ties the legs together low down and steadies the frame under daily use. Run them down both sides as well and the dining room turns fully upholstered.

Beige linen and beech suit a dining room that wants softness rather than more color, so they sit easily against a scrubbed timber table, a painted trestle or a plain plaster wall. The nailhead line gives enough detail that nothing further is needed on the chairs themselves.
