Description
The turnings do the talking on this Chinese Chippendale counter stool - ringed, noded, carved in ash to mimic bamboo, then finished in an antique black that lets the whole profile read as silhouette. It is the vocabulary of the 18th century, scaled and strengthened for a modern kitchen island.
Seat height is 26 inches for standard counters, with a linen-upholstered seat that softens all that architecture. The fretwork back runs to 41 inches, tall enough to lean into, and the 17 by 21 inch footprint keeps a long row of them orderly.
Black frames sharpen pale counters and calm busy stone; against marble or white oak, the open fretwork throws good shadows all day long.

Returns

If your piece arrives with damage from transit, note it on the transit documents at the time of delivery and send photos to hello@egahome.com within 24 hours. We will repair the piece at no cost to you, replace it if repair is not possible, or refund it in full if neither can be done.
